Introduced to freediving at the age of 40, Natalia became a holder of 40 world records and a 22 world champion. Having introduced her son into the sport, Natalia became the President of Freediving Federation of Russia. Using her PhD pf Pedagogical Science, Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism, Natalia studied the theory and methodology of applied sport and extreme activities, authoring 8 science articles and 2 training handbooks, a curriculum for free diving and sports persons training,  educational and methodical film “Freediving technique”. She was also Coach of the Russian national freediving team – AIDA and Judge of AIDA international category (level “E”).  Natalia died in 2015 while freediving.
